TextWriter v1.1

System requirement and startup instructions

  • Microsoft Windows 7, 8 or 10 with .NET Framework 3.5
  • The program does not need to be installed and will be displayed in English or German
  • Other languages can be created with the program "LanguageWriter"
  • First download the archive file with the program for a 32bit or 64bit operating system
  • Then unpack the ZIP file into a folder and start the program "TextWriter.exe"
  • The operating system may automatically install the .Net Framework 3.5
  • Note: Do not cancel the installation of .Net Framework 3.5 in Windows 8 and 10

  1. Create text file with preview image
  2. Search for selected font in the text
  3. Insert new font (open font selection)
  4. Font sample and size set
  5. Presentation of the selected font
  6. Change or delete unused color

  9. Adjust text alignment
  10. Show blank and control characters
  11. Colored line beginning and end

Where is the version number in the program?

Open contact window in the program TextWriter Show error form in the program TextWriter Version number found in the program TextWriter
  1. First open the contact window with the program icon
  2. Then in the contact window, select the form for error
  3. In the page next to the version is the current number

In the next version 1.2

  • Fix known and reported errors
  • Adapt program to 4K and 5K monitors (in May, from v1.2)
  • Registration of the file extensions ".tdct und .tdft" (in June, from v1.3)
  • Virtual keyboard for touch screens (in July, from v1.4)
