FileProtected v2.1

General description

  • No installation is required for the program and is therefore easy to try out
  • It is displayed in English or German and can be expanded for other languages yourself
  • It is not run as an administrator and therefore cannot make any changes to the system
  • Suitable for the following operating systems: Microsoft Windows 8, 10 or higher

Download instructions

  • Download the archive, unzip it and then start the executable program
  • Note: Microsoft Defender SmartScreen issues a warning message, the reason is the missing publisher certificate

What's new in version 2

  • Hardware support through the use of the graphics card
  • Create and save thumbnails in video files
  • Change the window color, adjust the size and language without restarting
  • Compact layout with hidden scroll bars and toolbars
  • Automatic rotation of images and videos
  • Text and binary files (.txt, .bin) are displayed as a preview and in the player

  1. Display the folder menu with the mouse pointer
  2. Show the status bar with project details
  3. Open window with project information and file search
  4. Move the view to the top of the file group
  5. Open file externally, preview to clipboard or start player
  6. Show and hide the file group and toolbar
  7. Change the image size with the slider or with the value input
  8. Switch to other files in the same group
  9. Highlight the file in the main window
  10. Adjust or enlarge the display
  11. Hide all symbols and bars with the mouse pointer
  12. Location, number and size of the project files
  13. Sort the files by size
  14. View and highlight the file in the main window
