FileThumbnail v2.2

General description

  • No installation is required for the program and is therefore easy to try out
  • It is displayed in English or German and can be expanded for other languages yourself
  • It is not run as an administrator and therefore cannot make any changes to the system
  • Suitable for the following operating systems: Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10 or higher

  • Download the archive, unzip it and then start the executable program
  • Note: Microsoft Defender SmartScreen issues a warning message, the reason is the missing publisher certificate

What's new in version 2

  • Hardware support through the use of the graphics card
  • Fast and smooth playback of Ultra HD (4K) videos
  • Create and save thumbnails in video files
  • Change the window color, adjust the size and language without restarting
  • Compact layout with hidden scroll bars and toolbars
  • Automatic rotation of images and videos (videos since Windows 8)
  • Text and binary files (.txt, .bin) are displayed as a preview and in the player

Improvement and correction

  • Executable files (.exe) and libraries (.dll) are no longer held after the preview and can now be deleted or moved
  • Changing the date and time of a file using text input now works again
  • An error occurs when loading the language file (MultiLanguage.xml), which has now been eliminated
  • Further corrections were made when changing the file size, the maximum file length, translations of texts and closing the folder properties
