FileShredder v1.3

General description

  • No installation is required for the program and thus easy to try out
  • It is displayed in English or German and can be extended with the program "LanguageWriter" for other languages

Instructions for Microsoft Windows 7

  • First download the archive file with the program for a 32bit or 64bit operating system
  • Then unpack the ZIP file into a folder and start the program "FileShredder.exe"

Instructions for Microsoft Windows 8, 10 or higher

  • Then download the archive file with the program for a 32bit or 64bit operating system
  • Unpack the ZIP file into a folder and start the program "FileShredder.exe"
  • Note: Microsoft Defender SmartScreen issues a warning message, the reason is the missing publisher certificate

  1. Start destroying the folders and files
  2. Exit the program
  3. Close the window without exiting the program
  4. View the progress bar when shredding
  5. Action icons with descriptions

  9. Create an icon (recycle bin) on the desktop
