HelpReader v1.3

General description

  • No installation is required for the program and thus easy to try out
  • It is displayed in English or German and can be extended with the program "LanguageWriter" for other languages

Instructions for Microsoft Windows 7

  • First download the archive file with the program for a 32bit or 64bit operating system
  • Then unpack the ZIP file into a folder and start the program "HelpReader.exe"

  • Unpack the ZIP file into a folder and start the program "HelpReader.exe"
  • Note: Microsoft Defender SmartScreen issues a warning message, the reason is the missing publisher certificate

Program examples with descriptions

Preview the program HelpReader
  1. Hide child outline
  2. Jump back to the previous page (only for page links)
  3. The symbol indicates the current page
  4. The outline contains a document page
  5. Activate the language selection
  6. Illustrated language in multilingual document
  7. The symbol marks the default language
  8. The marker indicates an action field
  9. A video with user defined thumbnail
  10. The action (play) of the current field
  11. The control is only displayed when the mouse pointer is on the page
  12. Play the current video

  • Register the file format ".tdhr" in the settings window

Where is the version number in the program?

Open contact window in the program HelpReader Show error form in the program HelpReader Version number found in the program HelpReader
  1. First open the contact window with the program icon
  2. Then in the contact window, select the form for error
  3. In the page next to the version is the current number

  • No further work will be done on the program in the near future
