LanguageWriter v1.1

System requirement and startup instructions

  • Microsoft Windows 7, 8 or 10 with .NET Framework 3.5
  • The program does not need to be installed and will be displayed in English or German
  • A complete language template "MultiLanguage.xml" for download (suitable for all programs)
  • First download the archive file with the program for a 32bit or 64bit operating system
  • Then unpack the ZIP file into a folder and start the program "LanguageWriter.exe"
  • The operating system may automatically install the .Net Framework 3.5
  • Note: Do not cancel the installation of .Net Framework 3.5 in Windows 8 and 10

Program examples with descriptions

Preview of the program LanguageWriter
  1. Select language, language reference, library (dll), module or text values for editing
  2. Edit selected language (all green lines)
  3. Select language reference (blue lines)
  4. Add a new language
  5. Select library (program specific)
  6. Select module (for example, a window description)
  7. Edit and change the text line
  8. Copy selected text to the clipboard
  9. Copy all lines of text in the selected module (library or language) to the clipboard
  10. Open the settings window
  11. Find and select an executable program (for example, FileThumbnail.exe)
  12. Load the generated language file (MultiLanguage.xml) into the program

Where is the version number in the program?

Open contact window in the program LanguageWriter Show error form in the program LanguageWriter Version number found in the program LanguageWriter
  1. First open the contact window with the program icon
  2. Then in the contact window, select the form for error
  3. In the page next to the version is the current number

In the next version 1.2

  • Fix known and reported errors
  • Adapt program to 4K and 5K monitors (in May, from v1.2)
  • Virtual keyboard for touch screens (in July, from v1.4)
