HelpWriter v1.1

System requirement and startup instructions

  • Microsoft Windows 7, 8 or 10 with .NET Framework 3.5
  • The program does not need to be installed and will be displayed in English or German
  • Other languages can be created with the program "LanguageWriter"
  • First download the archive file with the program for a 32bit or 64bit operating system
  • Then unpack the ZIP file into a folder and start the program "HelpWriter.exe"
  • The operating system may automatically install the .Net Framework 3.5
  • Note: Do not cancel the installation of .Net Framework 3.5 in Windows 8 and 10

Preview the program HelpWriter
  1. Presentation of the outline
  2. Open page and view
  3. Enable read mode (simulation from the "HelpReader")
  4. Insert new outline
  5. Select view (detail, list and thumbnail)
  6. Change field width directly
  7. Open image editor ("PicturePaint")
  8. Display settings window for the field contents
  9. Select content (image, video or text)
  10. Show player ("MediaPlayer")
  11. Enable multilingual Text
  12. Open text editor ("TextWriter")

Where is the version number in the program?

Open contact window in the program HelpWriter Show error form in the program HelpWriter Version number found in the program HelpWriter
  1. First open the contact window with the program icon
  2. Then in the contact window, select the form for error
  3. In the page next to the version is the current number

In the next version 1.2

  • Fix known and reported errors
  • Adapt program to 4K and 5K monitors (in May, from v1.2)
  • Registration of the file extension ".tdhw" (in June, from v1.3)
  • Virtual keyboard for touch screens (in July, from v1.4)
